Elstead Parish Council

Elstead is a village in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, situated in wooded countryside between Godalming and Farnham. There are approximately 1300 homes with just over 3000 residents. There has been a settlement in this area for hundreds of years, with links to the historical local economy evident from the names of the pubs - 'The Woolpack', 'The Golden Fleece' and 'Elstead Mill'. Many of the bridges leading out of the village of Elstead over the small river Wey are still the ancient bridges that were built all those years ago. Please be careful as you drive over them!
